Legal information
Cookie policy
This policy explains how CF Events uses cookies and similar technologies on the site cfevents.fr. It is framed by the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, mobile, tablet) when you visit our site. It allows us to remember your preferences or measure audience. Some cookies do not require consent (strictly necessary cookies), others require your prior agreement.
Tip: you can also manage cookies via your browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge) in the "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data" preferences.
1. Cookie categories used
- Strictly necessary cookies (exempt from consent): ensure the technical operation of the site (security, routing, language preference, form anti-spam).
- Audience measurement cookies (consent required unless exempt configuration): usage statistics to improve experience (e.g. most-visited pages).
- Functionality cookies: remember your choices (e.g. cookie consent, display, animations).
2. Indicative list of cookies
| Category | Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | __cf_consent | Store consent choices | 6–12 months | cfevents.fr |
| Necessary | __form_guard | Anti-bot / anti-spam protection (honeypot) | Session | cfevents.fr |
| Statistics | _ga | Audience measurement (anonymous if configured without personal tracking) | 13 months max | Plausible or Google |
| Marketing | _fbp / _tt_enable_cookie | Personalised ads / retargeting | 3 months | Meta / TikTok |
Note: this list is indicative. We will update it if new services are added (analytics, ad pixels, etc.).
3. Legal basis and consent
Strictly necessary cookies rely on legitimate interest. Statistics and marketing cookies rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the "Manage my preferences" button above.
4. Retention periods
Cookies are kept for a duration proportional to their purpose: typically from session to 13 months for statistics (per CNIL recommendations). Aggregated audience data may be kept longer for year-over-year comparisons.
5. Manage cookies in your browser
You can configure your browser to block, delete or allow certain cookies. The steps vary per browser:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings > Safari > Privacy and security
- Firefox: Options > Privacy and security
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
6. Third-party cookies
Our site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos) from third-party services that may set their own cookies. Loading is subject to your consent and the policies of those third parties.
7. DNT and "Do Not Track" signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. If an analytics tool we adopt supports DNT, we will enable it. Absent a uniform standard, we always prefer explicit consent.
8. Updates
We may update this policy to reflect technical or regulatory changes. Last updated: 18/10/2026.
